    Thats exactly what I want to do. Airbnb can beextremely profitable in certain areas. You could buy houses for 100k 15 minutes away from Palm Springs in 2009-2010 and make 3-4k a month. I hope housing market crashes so I can get a couple more cheap homes in vacation spots.

    I’ve said it a million times on here, NEVER be over exposed to one asset class. Spread your investments evenly. He could be taking a gigantic bath on this one if tenants stop paying.

    lmao you cant read. He makes that much after expenses/mortgage. You can deduct costs like a new roof from taxes and increase your rents to cover. That's not even mentioning that the home and land is appreciating in value every year.

    Lol you dont know how the court system works. They will owe that money. When they eventually go back to work, the landlord will collect. Courts are not going to punish landlords for tenants deliberately failing to pay. As long as the landlord uses the court system and doesnt use self-help, he will get his money eventually.

    You must not be a landlord. Go through the court system and you end up paying more than you're ever going to collect. Not sure where you're from but tenants are heavily protected in my state.
