    Best workouts for vert with no equipment.

    I was wondering the best workout for vert with no equipment. I’m currently trying to jump higher for my sport.

    Ascension and desension of a flight of stairs, stepping normally and backwards. After a week or two, wear a backpack with some books in it or increase the number of flights you take. A few weeks after that, add books or increase the number of flights.

    If you want to get better at jumping simply jump.
    Anything you do needs to fast and explosive.
    You do heel raises one and two leg,lunges ect.
    All should be quick though.

    "heavy" kettlebells swings


    any exercise that basically emphasizes power/explosion. You can also look up Alec Enkiri on youtube. He does a lot of athletic type training including sprints, has a 40 inch vertical but is also very strong all around.

    Aside from jumping onto things, jumping squats, jumping jacks, or leapfrogs - I find exercises involving a clean effective, such as power cleans or clean & presses. Tough to learn but pretty beneficial in many ways.
