    Moving average

    So I’m trying to figure out my calories to lean bulk at 0.5 and was told to download happy scale and track for 2 weeks. Here are my numbers and I’m trying to figure it out if anyone can help me. So something to note is I work overnights on Friday and Saturday. I work from 10pm-8am and that’s when my weight fluctuates like crazy because i need to sleep when I get home so I don’t get to weigh in at the same time on Saturday and Sunday. It looks like I was gaining 0.5 in the middle of this week then I got to my overnight shifts and now it says 0.1 so it’s making it hard to understand what I’m looking at.

    Just keep tracking and watching. Either dont weigh yourself on Saturday and Sunday because it's at a different time or understand that it's going to skew your moving average up.

    If you're gaining faster than you want over a period of weeks then subtract some calories from your daily.

    I really just wanna be sure and make sure I’m not wasting my time because I feel I’ve wasted so much already and want to make sure it goes well.

    Good idea so I deleted Saturday and Sunday weigh ins and my average is about 0.5 now so it looks like I may be on the right track for 0.5 a week
