    2000 calories a day

I started counting calories 3 weeks ago. 5'10 233 and now 227. Will 2k calories a day continue to work all the way down to 190? I know the less u weigh the less calories u need. Do you think eventually i will have to cut more the lower i get.

You could likely ride 2000 calories down to 190 but be aware that your rate of loss will decline as you lose weight.

A pound a week is usually a good target to hit I went from 192 to 170 today eating 2100 calories. I’ve been going since November tho I am just aiming for the 1 pound a week and it has been pretty steady through out. Mind you Christmas, New Years, my staff party and a few cheat days threw me off.

Is 170 even possible for me again. I graduated high school 5'10 160. Is that realistic at 47 years old by eating 2k a day

I checked with a register scientition. He said it's possible to eat a diet with a calorie count other than 2000/day.
I can tell time. Time cannot tell me.

Formerly LactoseTolerant. I'm not very imaginative.

Drop daily calories by 100 per day for every 10 pounds of weight loss and you won’t hit a plateau and stall.

    Of course

Be warned though, if you want the same body composition as you did when you were at high school, it's going to take more than just weight loss. You have to build back the muscle that was lost over the years due to the aging process. If you don't, you'll arrive at 160 and wonder why you just look like a smaller version of your 47yo self.

This is entirely possible but will take a long time. The weight loss part will be relatively easy in comparison.

Just understand that anecdotal calorie amount based on other peoples data will not be accurate for you because between your inconsistent counting and tracking which everybody does to some degree, and your much different lifestyle than everybody else it will be a trial and error as far as how many calories you need to reach your goals.
