    Disproportionate bench?

    17, 5'9, 80kg - probably about 20-25% bodyfat so not all muscle. Here are my stats:

    Bench: 70kg/154lb for 1
    Squat: 100kg/220lb for 2 reps
    Deadlift: 140kg/308lb for 2 reps

    I always feel like my bench is pretty lacking and I can't seem to get it up. I'm focused just on strength training and not hypertrophy so to increase my bench, I'll usually do 80% of my 1RM for 3x3 but bench has always felt weak. I've got the form ok but I never feel my chest or triceps activating. Aside from that do my stats look proportionate? Not the strongest 17 year old in the world but rome wasn't built in a day

    Bench more bro. Check your form and make sure you are doing it correctly if you don’t feel it on the pec. Your stats aren’t too far off from each other. Try db bench too.

    At 70% of your squat I would say your bench is Fine or on the high side like mine.

    doesn't look that bad, but it could just be because of the length of your limbs. benching will be harder if you have long arms while you may be able to deadlift more weight
