    Workplace gyms. How's yours?

I'm a home gym guy but my company just moved into new facility and they're building a gym for us to use. It's large and should be ready by end of next week. I peaked in the window and saw some weights stack machines and C2 rowers.

Today I did again and saw about 10 rogue fitness barbell sleeves and rogue boxes!

Looks like home gym is gonna get used less if they have interesting equipment.. Anybody have cool workplace gyms?

My workplace gym has a commercial half rack and a Rogue clone full cage. Also has the standard circuit of machines and cardio stuff as most normal gyms. It's actually really nice and is only $8 a month or something. Suffers from the same problem as all normal public gyms; there's always some f'er supersetting the 5 pieces of equipment you might actually want to use on a given day. I don't carry a membership anymore.

I'm wondering how it would be since it's exclusive for my my company. I estimate about 500 people in the building. If it's just like a globogym and crowded then maybe it will loose it's allure.

Mine is exclusive for employees, but there's 3 or 4 thousand at this site. Unless your place does mostly shift work it's going to be worst before and after work and at lunch, which of course are the times that using a work gym makes the most sense. I'd still give it a shot since they took the trouble to get all that nice equipment.

I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining about my work gym. It's very affordable and actually has more than decent equipment, and if I didn't have/want a home gym I'd probably use it. It's just hard to think about going back to waiting for squat racks or arguing with some brotato who needs the only utility bench in the gym so he can sit on it to do concentration curls for an hour.
