I have my protein goal reached for today, worth it to take teaspoon of Whey?

I have my protein goal reached for today but is it worth it to take teaspoon of Whey protein just for the sake of having Whey in your body? Or is it better to skip Whey for 1 day? Are there any benefits of it it?

Whey is just a supplement. If you’re meeting your protein needs without it then save it for days you’re not getting enough.
Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

^^This. It's just powdered food. Your question is like asking, should I take a teaspoon of chicken, even though I've met my macro for the day, just to have some in my body.

In the context of a high protein diet of varied sources, protein is protein outside of collagen. Meet your macro daily with whatever you want. If you need the help, you can use convenient powdered food. If not, don't worry about it. I haven't used protein powder in weeks.
