Red face Starting Supp Stack Advice?

Hey guys, I'm working on putting a plan together to start getting back to my fitness goals. My biggest focus is diet, and I'm not trying to take any short cuts. With that said I want to make sure my Micros/Macros are on point.

Here is what I'm thinking to supplement the diet/exercise plan:

    Animal Pak
    Animal Omega
Revel Women's Recovery + Collagen And Coconut Water, flavored water for cardio?
Dymatize All 9 Amino Full Spectrum BCAAs & EAAs, for early morning fasted cardio
Dymatize Iso100, I'm not sure what flavor yet, but I'm lactose intolerant and a fan of this brand. I don't eat a lot of meat so will need to supplement to keep protein macros up. I plan on doing some baking w/ protein powder for meal prepping as well.
NLA for Her Nighttime Burn, IDK about this one to be honest, I'm looking for a recommendation on a sleep supplement. This one has Gaba and Ashwagandha

The only other thing I may add is creatine, but I can't find con-crete in the store anymore, so any recommendation on an easy mixing creatine?

    Thanks guys for any help/advice.

You're spot on to put your macros first. www.myfitnesspal.com and www.fitday.com are probably the two most popular there. Track those calories and carbs/fat/protein daily and morning bodyweight daily. So, that out of the way

Don't waste money on free form amino acids (bcaa especially), get your protein macro for the day and you're golden. Also note that amino acids have calories even though the way labels work the calories don't show up there, and taking an amino acid product (bcaa/eaa) can take you out of a fasted state (that said, being 'fasted' for your cardio really doesn't matter anyway).

The Iso-100 is good stuff. Try the fudge brownie and/or the orange dreamsicle, or birthday cake.

Have you tried simple inexpensive melatonin for sleep supp?

Any reputable brand creatine monohydrate powder should mix great in your protein shake.

By far the most important thing for you is to track everything you consume every day, and almost morning bodyweight that you know what you are getting and what result that is having. And just stick with it. You need calories consumed to be a number less than calories burned. The most simple way to make that happen is to limit the calories in, and for weight loss, that's the thing

Here is what I'm thinking to supplement the diet/exercise plan:

Animal Pak - Sure if you want.
Animal Omega - Sure if you want
Revel Women's Recovery + Collagen And Coconut Water, flavored water for cardio? - Save your money and just flavor your water with Mio or Crystal light if you wish.
Dymatize All 9 Amino Full Spectrum BCAAs & EAAs, for early morning fasted cardio - DO NOT waste money on free form amino acids ever. If you're meeting your macro, which you should be doing based on your first paragraph and buying protein power below, you'll get plenty of amino acids. Save your money.
Dymatize Iso100, I'm not sure what flavor yet, but I'm lactose intolerant and a fan of this brand. I don't eat a lot of meat so will need to supplement to keep protein macros up. I plan on doing some baking w/ protein powder for meal prepping as well. - Fine here. I like Dymatize. Good price point and good flavors imo. Do note that baking with WPI is not the best.
NLA for Her Nighttime Burn, IDK about this one to be honest, I'm looking for a recommendation on a sleep supplement. This one has Gaba and Ashwagandha - Meh, save your money. As mentioned melatonin or valarian root if you need some help falling asleep.

The only other thing I may add is creatine, but I can't find con-crete in the store anymore, so any recommendation on an easy mixing creatine? - Creatine mono from any reputable brand will be fine.

    Thanks guys for any help/advice.

Thanks guys for the solid advice.

I like Animal Pak and Omega as multis, especially when my goal is losing weight. When I’ve cut before I had issues with my hair falling out and other stuff, so to err on the side of caution... I want to make sure I get all the micro nutrients I need even with a limited diet. Also, want to make sure my protein and fat macros stay up where they should. I love carbs! So if I’m not careful I’ll hit my calorie target & not give my body the macros or micros it needs.

Great feedback on the Aminos. I may get them later as I ramp up cardio or not at all and invest in crystal light.

Thanks for the recommendations on ISO100 flavors. I’m leaning towards birthday cake 😋

Do you know a protein that’s better for baking but has the digestive enzymes in it? I think Animal’s does, I’ve used theirs before with no issues. Otherwise I’ll end up with something plant based maybe.

I haven’t tried melatonin. Do you get a brain fog from it the next day?

Thanks guys for the advice on the creatine mono. I’ll check out some bulk brands. I used to like the pineapple concrete, it would mix great into whatever flavored aminos I was using at the time. 😊 I guess it’s smart to stick with unflavored mono in protein powder.

Thanks guys for taking the time to give me great advice! I hope y’all have a fantastic day!

    Fixed it for you.

There is no reason ever to for healthy people to supplement free-form amino acids if they are meeting their macro. If body comp or athletic goals are part of the equation, you should be meeting your macro.
