    Question What if I drink post workout/a protein shake DURING my workout (like between sets)?

    Does the protein in it not synthesize? Does it burn up for energy instead of hypertrophying my muscles or something?

    Timing of protein consumption in general is of the lowest importance. Doesn’t matter if you sip protein during, after whatever as long as you get enough protein daily.

    This OP. Nutrient timing in general isn't relevant to the vast majority of people.

    Eat your food or drink your powdered food whenever convenient for your schedule.
