    My 2020 Ford F250 6.7l Platinum w/ Tremor

So picked up this bad boy a few days ago.

MSRP was 85K which is insane for a truck, but with Fords X-plan and 4k off with 1000 Ford rebate and another Rebate (PCO) 3k I saved close to 10k.

Traded in my 2018 C63S,yea I know, but I wanted something different, and to be honest the power in this is Crazy, so much TQ and HP for such a big truck.

Looking to blackout all the chrome and adding an exhaust down the road. Probably will hold on to it for 2 years or so then picking up something new, but for now I really like it.

78k is pretty crazy for a truck, but they do hold their value better.

    75k not msrp.

Super Duty trucks especially Diesel hold their value very well. Just look at a 2018 they're around 60-70k depending on miles (Higher end trims like mine)

Bro, that's a 10k loss.. if you're financing, even more with interest. Unless you have a need for a diesel truck, or are just balling and will be paying cash and can afford a 10k+ loss... dont do it man. Especially if it's only for a couple years

    He already did it man.

I'd personally prefer to drive a fully loaded diesel super duty then a C63S... Or pretty much any car for that matter. If you live in a city with limited space for parking obviously it would be a bad choice. But everywhere else a full size diesel is the GOAT if you can afford it.

In about 10 years I'd like to get back into another one. I just need to acquire things to tow as well. A couple of boats. A travel trailer. Etc.

No I get ya brah, but I work for my own family business which is a pretty large commercial construction contractor.

It's tax write off too. I also plan to pay it off in 3 years, so by that time I'll be ready for something new.

nice OP! High trim trucks are awesome these days in terms of ride and capability. I know I certainly won't go back. Its nice throwing 6+bikes in the bed when shuttling mountain bike trails in the summer and snowmobile in the bed or haul everyone's sleds on the trailer for the weekend. The truck even feels so secure with 500lbs in the bed even hauling through a foot+ of snow.

Diesel trucks hold value better than almost any other type of regular vehicle. The cost savings on a sued F250 is hardly worth the savings from just buying new.

That said not sure why OP would spend 75k for a 250? No point unless you are going to use it for what it was designed for, should have just bought a limited F150 in that case. Raptor engines now and super plush (luxuryesque) interior. I hear the new Top of the Line Ram 1500 is even nicer since they started partnering with Merc.

those trucks are badass! would get one if i ever needed a diesel.

though i never get the exhaust mods... its like putting an aftermarket exhaust on import rice burners.. just not needed.

save it for big engine gas burners, you know, V8 and above.

And just LOL at holding value. Sure new diesels are still worth something in ten years but you just took a 30k loss plus interest, plus what could have been made if that money was invested plus the fact that diesels are expensive as fuk to maintain. 5 gallon oil changes, injectors, etc. Not to mention diesel costs more and all new ones require DEF. No thanks jeff.

Love how everyone is blown out about $85k for a truck. No attention to the fact that phaggot OP traded in a C63S.

I didn't spend 85k, but there's nothing in that range I wanted anyways, everything is way more than 85k, plus I had a C63S that was 87k before. Next car I plan on buying after this is a Porsche GT3 or 718 GT4 in a few years.

I think it's illegal now to remove emission crap from diesel trucks, they just passed a law a month or so ago. But I really don't care for 'rolling coal' but a nice ECU tune wouldn't hurt.

Speed wise, sure. But capabilities, nothing really comes close. over 1000 ft lbs of torque, capable of towing over 20k pounds no problem. Has premium leather interior and a bunch of other creature comforts you would expect to find in Mercedes. Ford and Dodge have both really stepped their game up in regards to the quality of their trucks.
