    NON Responsive muscle group, desperate for help

    Greetings all
    Im Dan from the UK and i have been struggling to put on any mass in my biceps, i have been lifting weights for a year now BUT i have seen absolutley no measurable increace in bicep size for SIX MONTHS. I would say overall my genetics for muscle building are poor-average.

    Overall i have put on a decent amount of muscle, my lifts are ALL getting stronger but my biceps remain very very stubborn.

    I have been on a cut since i started and have been very gradually but consistently losing weight throughout the 1 year ive been working out, but 2 weeks ago ive decided to go on my first bulk expecting to break this stupid arm plateau but nothing

    I have even purchaced jeff nippards arm hypertrophy program but if anything my arms have gotten smaller since doing this (it contains a LOT of different excercises throughout the week, before i just did the same few excercises week after week getting progressively stronger)

    I am 6ft2 210lbs, 28 years old
    Miserable 14.5 inch bicep cold
    Assume my diet is fairly good and effort is high as i have lost weight and gained strength overall. This is mainly an arm problem

    Questions 1. Has anyone else had such a long plateau before? How did you break it?

    2. Should i ditch this new arm program or stick out the 3 months to see if i get results. Is it possible the new stimulus could make them smaller/do nothing before they grow?


    Sorry for such a long post, i would greatly appreciate an opinion from someone who has been stuck in a similar predicament.

    You're better off posting in the workout programs forum. There are more people about there.

    If you are trying to lose weight then you will have trouble growing muscle. But also, if you lose fat, it will come off from your limbs too - so your measurements can stay the same or go down.

    If you can curl more than you could 6 months ago, you probably are still growing.
