    What Am I Missing?

    Look, I’m a strong dude. 19 y/o, 6’5” 240, benching 300, squatting 380. But I look at some of these collegiate guys, like football players. How are these dudes squatting 700 pounds, cleaning 405, that kind of thing? I eat pretty damn well too, I just can’t pick out what it is that I’m not picking up on. At my current pace, I’d be lucky to be benching 405/ squatting 500 by the time I’m 22, and as strong as that is, there’s a completely different level there.

    Is it nutrition? Or do they have specialized programs and **** that are just better than everyone else’s?

    Genetics, coaching, nutrition, dedication. Also some bull****ting about the actual numbers. Their 700 squat is a half squat with another 300 lb guy behind them "spotting" them.

    All you can do is be the best you, you can be. Don't worry about the other guys because there is always someone stronger. Exhibit 1:
