Any way to use nicotine without harmful ingredients?

Hey guys I'm new here. I couldn't find the best section to ask this. I'm really looking I stopped smoking 5 years ago and switched to vaping since then since it was all the rage. And honestly, I did feel much better after vaping and getting less sick and less colds. Now after 5 years it doesn't seem that vaping is as benign as it is and even though it's miles better than cigarettes, I vape all day long and I'm sure sooner or later it will catch up to me. Reports of water in the lungs is something that terrifies me. My other go to options are nicorette lozenges but again those contain a bunch of aspartame and bunch of chemicals, and after say 10 years or so something easily could happen after reading studies on aspartame on the brain, although they are very tiny lozenges and maybe there isn't that much aspartame in it. I did manage to find some nicotine lozenges without aspartame on a few sites like nicotineland.com but they contain a gram of sugar for every lozenge and adding 20 grams of sugar in my diet on a daily basis doesn't help my fat loss routine I'm on. So my last option is to use nicotine patches from nicorette, and it seems this is the best option for the minimum amount of health or diet issues, only problem is they are pretty darn expensive. Let's say I decide to pay for patches although it would break my wallet, are there ANY risks or issues with that. I'm thinking hard on it and can't find a downside, but I'd like to have the opinion of other people, is there anything that I haven't thought about?

I don't know what else is in them but they make nicotine pouches that you put in your lip like a dip but it doesn't have any tobacco. There are also drugs to help people stop smoking and I would assume they could help your dependence on nicotine as well since that is what it is in the end. Not sure the side effects but it would be worth a talk with your doctor as I am sure your insurance would cover a lot of it since it would lower their expenses in the long run.

It's almost trivial to worry about a little aspartame or sugar when you have much bigger fish to fry.

Do what you have to do to quit. If you want to use a product that has a little sugar in it, then just reduce the sugar in your diet by the same amount.

More importantly, you need to make sure that you don't just replace vaping indulgences with overeating indulgences. It's like you're fighting two battles at once, so you have to be flexible on both battle fronts.

Couple guys I work with swear by Zyn, which is a nicotine pouch. A good portion of the cops i work with smoke or dip or both, some vape. The few guys who have tried Zyn seem to really like it, but they don't have any issues with dipping in general so take that with a grain of salt. If you want to work on nicotine cessation you're going to have to spend the money on something like Zyn or Nicorette. I guess it just depends on how much you think your health is worth (monetarily).

Nicotine gum or a patch will be safe but you need to consider how much nicotine you are getting daily in the vaping and if you can get an equivalent amount from the gum and patch at an affordable cost (you almost certainly can't). Talk to your doctor to see if you get can prescribed a medicine to help.
