Exclamation Ready to Shed off the Pounds w/ your Assistance!!!

    Hello Body-Builders,

This post took a while for me to post, partly because I was unsure if this crowdsourcing bodybuilding.com could really assist me. But due to my rapid weight gain; as well as a few health ailments. I decided to post.

My name is Daniel I am currently 24 going on 25 DEC 10. My weight is approx 295lb, while my height is 6'2. My background is of southeast Asian. My current problem is that I am trying to lose 25 pounds or more. I want to be healthy and physically fit. In the past, I did manage to lose a few lbs over a summer boot camp. The diet I used was to cut out all fats and eat high fibrous foods. I would eat chicken and get most of my fats from there. It turned out to work and for the first time I felt, I am finally doing it losing weight. Unfortunately, it didn't last. I got sidetracked and ended up gaining it all back.

I created a whole new work out plan. I want to start Monday 9th/2019, down below I will post my workout plan along with my current photos.

    * Also if someone can address this. I never understood why I have a female hourglass shape for a male body. Is there a way I can make adjust this?

Currently, I am working a part-time job, all while going to school full time. Money is tight otherwise I would have brought a meal plan from a professional, and with a trainer as well. But honestly, with today's resources, a trainer is really not a requirement. My previous trainer really helped me to keep my body aligned with good posture while working out.

The reason why I am posting on Bodybuilding.com is because this is one of the biggest diet and weight loss crowdsourced platforms. I know this is my journey. With my current health aliments that arose, I know that they will be motivation along with future goals. I would also like you guys to follow along with my journey. With your support and helping hand. I know we can achieve this. I am really in need of some dire assistance. Please help guide me.

    Thank You
    Dan

    Dan,
Welcome to the forums. You don’t have a “female hourglass” body. You’re just suffering from the all too typical high body fat/low muscle body.

From your post it’s pretty clear you need to spend some time learning and researching proper nutrition and proper lifting. I’d spend some time in the nutrition section reading the sticky’s and also the same in the workout program section. When I was first starting out I found “burn the fat, feed the muscle” book by Tom venuto to be a valuable resource, but reading the sticky’s would be a good start. Researching and learning is gonna take time and effort, but the payoff will be worth it. Enjoy the journey and happy birthday.

I had more fat than you and I lost 111lbs in 7 months. I am not an expert, but I can tell you what worked for me, how I have lost all that fat. Morning cardio on empty stomach 5 times per week and strict low calories diet mostly based on proteins and healthy carbs. I controlled blood and urine every month and everything was good, always. It is hard to do, but it will work for sure. If you want, you can see my transformation in my gallery. Be strong and smart and all the best to you on the road of getting an athletic body.
    No regrets.
