Question Why is bread considered bad?

Over the years I've seen Youtube videos recommending against normal bread for muscle gains.

It contains a decent amount of protein, and the fibre from multi grain is good for you. Why is it considered bad to eat for gains?

If you are eating it for lunch and you workout between breakfast and lunch.

It isn't considered bad by those who have an understanding of nutrition.

Now there is a lot of individual variability as to how people respond to different foods. Some people will genuinely find that eating bread makes them feel sluggish or light headed. You have to experiment with what suits you.

But as a generality, bread is a useful food.

The only time I feel sluggish using bread is when I get home at 3AM after a night out and have a chip butty lol.

But as SP says. People respond differently to different foods. I can happily have a Mars Mar ice-cream and hit the weights and other people would have a sugar crash.
I have a good joke about water retention. But I'm going to hold onto it for now.

I'm not an elevator, but I certainly do lift.

Going to the gym? Ha, it's just a weights of time.

Steroids and ass. They certainly go well together.

I'm the BB king..of puns. I train my back using only fish. I love my macker-rows.

Its not, and you should ignore those YouTube videos. Bread is delicious.

Even when I'm cutting and have my carbs fairly low I still eat bread a couple times a week.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
