    Newbie stack

    Just started getting back into weight lifting since highschool. Need advice on what to take. For the past couple of months I have been taking beta alanine, whey, bcaa,and a pre workout (was taking citrulline but about to try mts vasky). Am I taking to much?

    You can certainly do without the BCAA unless you need something to mix Vasky with since it's unflavored I thnk

    Don't waste money on bcaa.

    Use protein powder as needed to supplement your regular food diet to help meet your daily protein macro/goal.

    Just watch your stimulant intake, that should be all that matters for 'too much' here. How many grams of protein are you consuming per day?

    Only about 160g. I forgot to say that I am also losing weight I’ve lost 100 pounds in the last year or so and only have about 15 to go though. I’ve heard that BCAAs prevent muscle breakdown from this. Is that true?

    Just meet your macro and you'll get plenty of amino acids including leucine, isoleucine and valine. Stop worrying about supplementing 3 free-form amino acids and just meet your macro.

    What do you weigh currently? 160g of protein daily might be all you need to shoot for. Get your daily protein intake (you may already be doing so at 160g) and you'll be covered on all the amino acids included the three branched chain aminos
