Are there any mass gainers that do not have gut irritants?

    Hello all,

I am a 36 year old who is getting back into lifting after a few months abroad working (and not near a gym). I have a mild case of irritable bowel syndrome, so I am trying to find a new bulking powder that doesn't irritate my gut. I have been using Naked Mass but even that relatively clean powder is full of maltodextrin (a known gut irritant) are there any bulking powders that don't have maltodextrin or other gut irritants (e.g. creatine, excess fiber, chicory root)? Thanks

iForce Mass Gainz is probably the best overall mass gainer product I have ever seen. It fits what you’re looking for.

Or an even better options is just to make your own. That way you know it won't trouble you.

Thanks OT2000, it looks great except I'm not sure the 5g of fiber per serving will be work. If only they had a version that didn't have fiber.

How would I go about making my own? I wouldn't even know where to begin. My GI doctor just told me to "eat a steak" after working out instead of a shake, but I know that isn't ideal for absorption.

The difference in MPS due to any absorption rate difference between a shake and a steak is infinitesimally small. Not worth considering at all.

Don't buy into the "anabolic window" and etc. advertised by supplement companies. Overall nutrition has much, much, more impact than anything else.

With making your own shake get a protein you know you can stomach well and add whatever you want to it. Ice cream, oats, peanut butter, various oils, fruits, milk, or etc. etc. Whatever you want it to be.

Maltodextrin should not irritate your gut, it's actually very easily digestible.

Check out Animal Meal, it's specifically designed to digest easily, there is no dairy and nothing artificial:
