    Creatine - When to take it?

    Hello,

    I recently just purchased Micronized Creatine Monohydrate powder (5g). Before this, the only creatine I got was from pre-workout (2g). I take pre-workout before I lift in the afternoon, a BCAA or amino acid supplement during my afternoon workout, and whey isolate after.

    My question is when is the most optimal time to take creatine? Does during the middle of the day work? Should I take it every day or only on days I exercise (4/7 days of the week).

    How much do you weigh?

    3-5g a day, every day, any time of day, in any beverage, no loading, no cycling, until time stops

    Also, if you took 5g on your training days 4x/week, that would do it as well, though you might want to "load" by taking your 3-5g a day every day for a couple weeks first.

    I drink mine with my preworkout on my way to the gym. I go about 5 days a week so I am good there, but the other 2 days I often "forget" to take it. Need to tighten up on that.
