    Talking Best protein powder

    Hi mates,

    I live far away from USA but I can find a similar product if you can help me.

    I`m looking for the best protein powder concentrate in the world, I mean, the maximum amount of protein that can be used ... in one pack. Not something out of the ordinary expensive, but something that most guys take, I have no clue what to take, I never took supplements. But I need them now.

    Please help me !

    And no don't tell me to eat eggs turkey almonds tons of milk and tons of chicken breast because i cannot afford that daily.

    It's powdered food. As long as the brand/manufacturer can reasonably be trusted to meet label claims, all that matters to you [in no particular order] are

    *Availability
    *Macros (calories and carbs/fat/protein)
    *Taste
    *Price

    Exception: If you have dietary restrictions like no lactose or whatever, take that into account, otherwise, just the above.

    Again, it's basically powdered food, use it as needed to supplement your diet and meet your daily protein goal/macro

    100% protein BEEF / HEMP / GREEN PEAS ISOLATE or this madness : 350% animal pure protein " CARNIVOR | Beef Protein Isolate Powder by MuscleMeds "

    Now the question is, should I take it as hydrolyzed form or ISOLATE form ? as in my country I found only these 2 forms, which is best and why ?

    Beef protein powder is awful quality and should be avoided like the plague. Hemp and pea protein aren’t great either unless you’re vegetarian, which you clearly aren’t.

    Dairy’s honestly your best option unless you’re lactose intolerant and I haven’t a clue what you’re on about with soy being bad for your junk. That’s decade old bro science about it affecting testosterone.

    (Btw, how is milk ‘poison’ to most people?)

    In a nutshell:
    Avoid beef, hemp, pea, brown rice proteins.

    If you don’t want a dairy protein well then your only other option is egg protein powder or, god forbid, eat some food.

    Sounds right.

    I think as far as highest protein per serving the order would go... MyProtein, ON, Universal and Gaspari. I've never tried MyProtein. But IME out of the other three Gaspari's flavors, at least the ones I tired, tasted the best. It's also thicker in consistency like a milkshake which is no surprise when comparing the macros.

    For me price would be the deciding factor on the ones mentioned. Everything else is just all the same basically.

    I also agree on staying away from rancid powdered beef protein.

    I`ve found 100% egg powder but how is that isolate ? I seem not to find egg protein isolate... why should I avoid pea and rice ?

    I got a headache reading through this thread op.... Protein is protein, as long as its normal and not some weird beef stuff. Some of it will digest slower than others, like cassein, which comes from milk. I consider normal protein to be cassein and whey. Pick one of those two. Whey isolate and whey concentrate are the best imo. They digest fast, don't sit heavy in your stomach, usually aren't complimented with a lot of carbs and fats. Optimum nutrition can be bought for 20 USD per 27 servings from amazon. Don't worry about "the most protein per pack"... figure out the serving size, prices, and compare.

    Edit: Using protein powder isn't going to make your muscles bigger or stronger. I hope you got your macros and calories figured out first, otherwise this conversation is pointless.

    I shudder at the mentioning of hydrolyzed beef protein powder. Specifically Carnivore fruit punch. It tasted like Hi-C that someone vomited into.

    Then a while later I saw “Improved taste!!” on the tub so I thought I would give it another chance. The taste was definitely improved. It tasted like Hi-C that someone vomited a little less into.

    I cannot consume protein from milk / soy so I might chose egg powder protein 100%

    Why it should not work for building muscle ?! faip recommended so.

    I'm not really buying into the general assumption that chicken is the same or better as an alternative to a quality whey protein powder. Last year I eliminated the whey and ate 470g (cooked) of chicken breast a day. Did that for 6 straight months tracking my macros to a T. Yeah I leaned out. But I didn't look as muscular as I had hope, was constantly depleted in the gym and my recovery was almost nonexistent. In any case I thought I would make this lame thread a little more interesting and educational.

    Bulk frozen chicken brest here is extremely expensive , if i d be to eat daily i d have to take 2 jobs more to pay all this. I know what I am saying, I cannot afford protein from food and that s why I need powder form of protein, can you help me with a real advice now ? ..

    As there are relatively almost 0 good answers here I might go all natural as one friend of mine suggested intake of eggs + chicken breast daily , that makes it like 7 eggs / day would be 42 g pure protein + 0.2 kg chicken breast /day would be 62 g protein.

    42 + 62 = 104 g protein / day that would be able to substitute 2 servings of whey isolate per day.

    Slay or educate me if I`m wrong.
