Whats up everyone? Now this workout journal is a little different than most because I am not just doing an actual workout journal exclusively per se, but I am adding the monk mode to it.
Now some of you may be asking what is Monk Mode? Its a time in your life when you take a specified amount of time to focus on you and only you. You dont socialize as often (if at all), and for the most part you eradicate all of your bad habits. Some even bring it new habits. Most people that I have seen that do the monk mode experiment usually only do it for 90 days or so, but I wanted to go a little longer. Why is that? Well, for me, I am going to be 30 next year and I wanted to take this time to focus the rest of my 20's on pure self-development and stop bs'ing around. Without further adieu, here are the guidelines for this.
Monk Mode
-no fap
-no drugs of any kind
-no alcohol (i will schedule one day a month in which i can bend this a little)
-no sugar or dairy
-extremely limited social media use (only youtube for educational purposes and this page)
-meditate/stretch everyday
-follow my daily workout routine
-write in this every day
-listen to subliminals and manifestations (to see if mindset and the power of it actually works)
-no mindless internet or television usage
-no females (by far the hardest part)
-water as only beverage besides a veggie shake in morning
-specific time of the day I'm allowed to check my phone for texts (once every 4 hours)
this is going to be really tough. i'm also doing this because other than age I'm i a very transitional phase of my life right now. I quit two soul sucking jobs and in the process of getting a solid one to replace those two. We will see where this monk mode takes me. I did it for two days last week and fell off a wagon by the third day just simply due to my laziness.
This shouldnt be too hard if only due to the fact that I should have a bartender job lined up pretty soon so socially its not like I will be in complete abyss. This is more less for the times in which I am to myself, that I am dedicating all to me.
This will be epic..join me!

Day 1 complete and boy was it difficult. Giving up all those habits at once was going to be a strain regardless but there were way too many temptations around. Fortunately, I passed through all of it. Had a productive day overall.
Something really interesting happened this morning. So in my OP i was talking about manifesting. So Ive been manifesting money. Now I havent recieved any money per se, but I was a bit behind on my car payments. I get a call this morning and apparently there was random money in my account that cover this months car payment. Blew my mind...power of belief peopleSan Diego Chargers and Minny Twolves all day baby!!
