    Can BCAAs cause Sweating?

Has anyone started sweating like crazy throughout the day or experiencing night sweats after taking BCAA supplements? I am getting up drenched in sweat; I mean my clothes look & feel like I jumped into a swimming pool with them on! It is not only one of the worst feelings ever, especially now that it is freezing weather and I'm waking up in wet clothes!, But it is worrying me, I didn't change any of my medications recently either. The only thing I did differently was I started drinking Scivation Xtend BCAAs, kiwi strawberry, and only 1-2 scoops a day. The last time I drank some was early this morning so I've stopped now but it's too early to tell bc I'm still sweating. Im just curious if, 1) this has happened to any1 else, and 2) if it IS the BCAA powder, then what exactly is in the powder thats causing it?? Ughhh

Most likely something else.. and just 1 scoop ought to suffice for the day

I know this is an older thread, but I have definitely isolated the cause of going into a crazy water pouring off my body cold sweat to my use of Bucked Up Racked BCAAs. I was trying to find out if others had the experience or if anyone might know if there is a particular ingredient in the mix causing this reaction.

It's not 3 amino acids making you sweat. If that were the case you'd sweat eating any protein source. If it truly is that supplement as the cause, it's more likely the GBB potentially causing that issue. Doubtful, but possible.

Regardless, stop wasting your money on free-form amino acids and supplements like that and just meet your macro. If you're doing so, you'll get plenty of amino acids.

Im starting to wonder if this is what might be causing my night sweats? When you stopped did it eliminate the problem? Thank you

It's never happened to me, but I'd recommend stopping just that and see if it goes away to get your answer.

BCAAs can cause many things like sudden extreme muscle gain, infinite fatigue resistance and record breaking strength, but sweating isn't one of those things.
