    Paint job for older truck?

    I've got an 86' F150 XL, pictured here .

Was thinking up some paint schemes and shopped up what I thought would look nice on it. Used a similar model for the scheme because I couldn't find a good angled picture of the actual truck for the edit. Here's what I'd want the exterior to look like.

With a wooden bed, that looks like this.

And lastly, the I'd want the interior re-done with bedliner. I found a picture of the scheme I'd want. Its not of an f150, but you get the idea. . White leather seats, and wheels like this.

I understand I should have named TT Remodel for an older truck, but oh well.
    Thoughts, brahs?

That's cool and all but most people that do restos like that do them on slightly older trucks, maybe like a 63 stepside or something.

Also... that's not your truck in the first picture

You'd probably get better feedback if people were able to see the condition of your actual truck. Also... is that an extended bed? Not very many people mess with the long bed trucks, for some reason everybody likes the short wheelbase ones.

lol, I only have one picture of my truck, and have no idea where it is. The only difference in my truck and the one pictured is the one pictured is the tires. I used that same site you got it from for the sake of not having to go take one. The red one is also found on the same page, just below it, except its blue. Never meant to try to pass it off as MY truck, but didn't think it'd matter since its 100% identical looking, except for the wheels/tires that would be changed anyway.

And yeah, its an extended bed. And I'm pretty sure people tend to stay away from putting the wood in ext.beds because well... more wood, more work, more money, more upkeep. But this truck is really my first project and its something I've grown attached to.

    *edit*

found the picture of my truck from the day I bought it.

Dunno about the paint, but inside I'd go with monstaliner. Wheelin buddy has his whole jeep done inside and out with the stuff, absolutely bulletproof. Looks really nice, like legitimate paint from a distance. Have to get up close to see the texture of it. Can roll or spray it and have all the colors imaginable. If I still have the jeep when my paint craps out that's the route I'm goin

Thanks for the link, dude. I've been trying to find a decent roll liner that comes in color and hadn't had any luck. Good shot, man!

I like a two-tone paint scheme on that year F150. If its done right it looks nice.

A monotone resto-mod look is nice too, but looks better on a short box not a flareside like this.
