Uhhh, maybe in theory if you were to take your muscle development all the way to your max genetic potential(or close.) Then ya it would all be balanced since you'd have as much muscle as your frame could naturally hold.
But I mean in my case my right lat is much more pronounced than my left lat, and just doing symmetrical exercises isn't going to correct the imbalance. If anything I feel like in my case my right lat will continue to grow more pronounced, since it will be moving more weight than the left one.
I've actually noticed when doing pullups that in the last reps before failure my body always starts turning towards my right stronger side. Have to fight hard to correct it..

I believe the same.
Muscle imbalance can be caused by many things...working a body part in a unilateral way can be an ineffective way to correct the imbalance. If your right lat is more pronounced, it might be because the right side of your chest is retracted, thus pulling your lat forward. In this case, how come unilateral back work will help you when what you need the most is stretching your chest? Your lat might be more pronounced because your traps and rhomboid are weaker on this side...or because traps/rhomboid are tensed on the other side.
For some, unilateral work can help stregthen a weak side...but for some, it might be a complete waste of time because the problem is not a weak body part, but it might be a retracted/tensed body part you didnt even suspect.☆ ☆ QUEBEC CREW ☆ ☆

and how often should i increase the weight.
i was thinking what if i just trained the left side first with unilateral exercises stop at the same number of reps on the right and increase the weight when i hit my rep goal and when i can use good form on every single set. from then just repeat the process. any thoughts??

look bro i take your advice to heart as much as we argue. I'm doing 0 cardio aside from warming up, eating a surplus of calories meeting my macros, getting as much sleep as i can. being consistent and intense as i can. but if i don't work on correcting this then what's the point when that's my goal. symmetry .

You post a new thread everyday. If you truly are following people's advice then give it time. If your supposed imbalance is as bad as you claim it is then it will not be fixed overnight even if you are implementing the correct methods to fix it.
Also, post pics or it didn't happen (with clothes on of course).
