    Need Help with Saggy Skin (New to the forum)

    I'm new to bodybuilding.com but after doing a little research I seen that this is a good place to start and ask questions.

    Here's my story. Last year at the end of Aug I turned 25 and decided it was time for a change. I went to see a diet Dr. and was put on a no carb diet with an appetite suppressant. To date I have lost 67lbs... going from 246 to 179. I would love to get down to 145 to loose a total of 101lbs. Here's the problem I lost the weight to fast and did it the wrong way. I worked out some but mostly just trained my self to not eat. When I did eat I stuck to my no carbs. Well now I'm saggy. My legs and arms are ok (still need a little toning but I'm working on that) but my stomach needs help.

    From what I've read I need to work out and it's going to take time ... but I want to see results soon.

    What is the best thing for me to do to tighten up this skin? Can your skin shrink back? Are there any creams I can use to help? I read that I should drink plenty of water (how does that help tighten shin). What type of work out should I be doing? & I go tanning is that going to help or hurt the situation? Any Ideas, suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you all!!!

    Lifting weight to gain lean muscle mass is a definite wanna do for a multitude of reasons. Will it be enough to fill out your skin? That's hard for us to say. You're young so that helps. But like it or not you may need plastic surgery to get rid of excess skin. It's pretty common when there's been a large enough weight change.

    are you lifting or doing only cardio? your youth is a good thing in your favor..lift heavy, rest, do it again..see if that helps ok?

    Saggy skin is a dread for every woman as they age. I was literally afraid that I would end up suffering with such loose skin but the homemade face masks for skin tightening definitely did its magic. All of these masks that I have tried have been made with ingredients that are lying around in your house. If you are done using the synthetic products, I would suggest going organic!

    First of all well done on the weight loss. That's incredible achievement so you should be really proud!!

    First step I think is start doing some exercise to help tone your muscles. And, I don't know whether it works (but it can't do any harm) apparently cucumber is wonderful for toning wrinkles and loose skin? It might be worth a try.
