    getting Test levels checked

Any recommendations on how to choose a doctor? I am 43 and finally have health insurance...thinking about getting my tesosterone levels checked. Should I find some sort of specialist or just a general practitioner?

Any of you guys find someone that prescribes HGH or anything along those lines?

    Thanks for any info.

getting to far into this topic is against the rules here.
As far as getting the tests any dr can do that
but it sounds like your wanting a dr familiar with hormone replacement therapy and that's where the discussion will get the thread locked by a moderator.

This guy is hilarious. I'm sure if I would have insisted he would have done it, but he has a way of convincing you that you don't really want what you thought you wanted and you walk out laughing about it all and then realize two hours later... hey wait a minute! I never ever go to the doc, like ever for any reason but when I do I drive all the way across town for this one so I think he knows I won't be firing him. Next time I develop strep throat and have to go because I can't prescribe myself antibiotics I'll ask for it again and tell him I can't get a boner or something, hopefully I won't just walk out with 2 months worth of Viagra samples.

I dont have health insurance, and I went to one of these local clinics. I told them I didnt have health ins, I mentioned I looked online and that I believe I am suffering from the low T. I got tested in the morning and when the results came in I was higher then the top 876 (300-875 is I believe the range)

If you do have low T I wouldn't be so quick to jump on TRT. I would first do it naturally, eat high saturated fat food, take a high dosage of vitamin D3 (I take7-8,000IU a day), do a lot of compound lifts, when you shower do not let hot water touch ur berrys. Then get retested after 3-4 months and see

Last thing you want to do is get on T. Sure they make creams, gels etc but the body usually gets used to them after few months to a year and eventually fade on you. In the end you will be stuck to sticking every 5 days. After awhile your berrys stop working and will shrink, there are other medicine to take to save them. There is a good guy named chip he runs a company called Maximushrt, he is the one to talk to.

My major concern was I am 35 single and would love to have kids, if I were on T, I am sure that would effect my sperm count. So do it naturally, and if you have exhausted everything you possible can then use the therapy from a trained therapist.

In some states it is legal to order blood tests online, pay for them, go to a lab, and have the results emailed to you. Technically, a doctor is doing the ordering and you'll have to file your own insurance. I've done it for my annual physical and brought the results with me to the doctor. The value a doctor brings is the interpretative skills and that's what I'd prefer to pay him for.
