Thread: Carnivor Beef Protein Shake Gas/Diarrhea

I purchased the beef protein blend from Carnivore from the Vitamin Shoppe a few days ago, along with T-Bol. Since then, the shake is giving me seriously bad bloating & gas and today I had pretty bad diarrhea. These farts aren't your typical run of the mill cornhole explosions but rather a hot ,putrid like excretion straight from hell that leave my nethers swamped and me gasping for air in my own car. I feel quite terribly about this and was hoping someone else had any tips for such problems from protein shakes or if this is an unavoidable effect I must endure. I'm thinking this might just be from this particular brand of shake.

Anyone with any comments/tips/help would be GREATLY appreciated as I am debating at the moment whether to take todays dose of protein or if I should just throw it away as I cannot endure this stink and mudd butt another day. THANKS :]

I think your probably right, cause I know protein gas is pretty common, more people have it than not I think right? I've only been through about 4 lbs of protein shake mixes thus far in my diet of the Walmart variety(MuscleTech/SixStarr) & the gas was bad, but fun. I like to put the sheets over my head in bed and let it rip and just really bask in the glory of it's magnificence. This particular gas I'm getting from Carnivor beef protein though is intolerable & painful.

Have you started the TBOL yet? Forskolin always has that effect on me for about a week.

Yea, I'm at the end of my 2nd day using it. That could be the culprit ya think? Good to know perhaps. Still haven't taken my protein shake today, I'm a bit scared. Hell, if there's a chance it's the T-Bol, I'm going to hop on that blender asap and whip me up some protein love.

Nah, it's alright. I've tasted worse. Their fruit punch taste's like liquid bubble-yum or something. Like the flavor of a children's medicine.

I've been having the runs since I've been taking the chocolate flavour of this carnivor beef protein. To be honest I am quite disappointed with it.

I know this thread is old. But I can confirm carnivor gives me the same stink problem, is just a smell from another world! I can't be around anyone while drinking that ****, I would killem. That's how I found this discussion. Throwing this thin away and looking for an alternative (I'm am lactose intolerant :/ )

I just purchased this and I had to chuckle because I found the first comment to be exactly what I have experienced with this product. Gives the expression, “never trust a fart” new meaning!
