    T-Bar Rows!!!

They are my favorite lat exercise! For those of you who do them, I'm curious, how much weight do you add to the bar and for how many sets and reps?

For the sake of education, I will say that I aim for the 6-8 rep range for 3-4 sets depending on how I feel.

I love T-bar rows, I get a great MMC with these. As far as weight goes...I do enough for me to complete my rep/set scheme.

Once a week or so, at my heaviest weight, I will rep out to failure, drop a plate off and do 4-6 more until I have no plates to drop.

Seriously, how many threads are we going to have where the OP asks how much weight everyone uses for an exercise? Does it really matter what weights other people use? No, no it doesn't. /whatchabench?

I personally do sets of 12 and usually 4. The weight I use will vary depending on when in my workout I do them. The last time I used 180.

Didn't do them long here not long ago, but tried them out for a bit, i really felt a good mmc in my back with them etc..will prolly go back to them..anyways i would work up to 3x 45s and a 25 for a last set of maybe 8 to failure, that was the highest i got to my last workout doing them

my gym doesnt have a machine so i just put the bar in a corner and put wieghts on. I can do four 45 pound plates and a 25 for 15 reps. Probably get 5 plates for 10.

In America, we have the "not to say a damn thing" option if it's something that we don't like or don't agree on. Do you know how many threads I read a day and if don't really have anything constructive to say, I just leave out of the thread without saying anything? Why is that so hard? If you don't like the thread, just read it (or hell, don't even enter the thread by the title name, if you know you probably wont like it) and move on to the next thread.....sheesh. 26, really? When do we grow up dude? It's an exercise thread, so this would be the correct place to post it. I can't stand dumbasses such as yourself dude

i use 15 kg plates so i can pull them up more to the body without a limited range of movement with bigger 20 kg plates. Much prefer t bar rows to bent over bb rows, seem to hit my back better and i find its much easier to get into position and let the back do the work. Throwing the movement up and down with heavy weight totally defeats the purpose of this exercise, good form is the key.

I use 2.5 lb plates for a full ROM, and put them all the way out to the end. Usually 15-20 sets of 30 gets a good pump going.

That sounds like a lot of work to set up. The more 2.5s it took the more I'd want to find some kind of long lever to attach to the bar so I could get the RoM with bigger plates and save the trouble.

I don't go past a few plates. I prefer to maintain proper form and a higher repetition range.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.
