    Clean Diets Don't Matter

    before i get flamed here, I wanna say i am 100% about clean eating and clean dieting, most if not all natural food is what my diet consists of.

    I have an issue with people who always say "having a clean diet doesn't matter, as long as you are in a deficit you will lose."

    what the FACK?

    why do people comment this way AND do they really expect to lose BODY FAT on a diet consisting of twix, snickers, and fatty num nums as long as you are in a deficit???

    i dont get it... why do people even say that!?

    You can eat ANYTHING you want as long as you are in a caloric deficit. You will lose weight regardless.

    Don't get me wrong I don't believe in it...but it is this simple:

    Cals in = Cals out = Maintain weight
    Cals in < Cals out = Lose weight
    Cals in > Cals out = Gain weight

    What is in those cals makes no difference when it comes to weight loss.

    cuz people are ignorant and are fed a bunch of BS... Yes you will lose "weight" if you're in a deficit even if it comes from all junk. but there is no way to maintain or gain muscle without proper amounts of protein and amino acids. Therefore most of that weight you will lose will be muscle and you'll look like a trash bag filled with corn flakes.

    Correct. But the point of the matter is, you can lose weight eating whatever you want. No one is talking about gaining muscle...because yes you are correct macros are important.

    I totally agree with you, bro. Eating dirty foods can only run the risk of ingesting bug poop, rodent hairs, and other undesirables that can lead to illness, and perhaps a bad mood. That's why I always recommend that people wash their food in order to achieve a clean diet.

    i dont get why anyone would even say that, although scientifically true, you will lose WEIGHT in a deficit of calories, you will not gain muscle and/or lose fat without proper or "clean" nutrition!

    Personally I have the best of both worlds. My diet is "clean" by bodybuilding standards Monday - Saturday... Sunday however is a totally different story, my diet is filthier then a $2 TJ hooker supporting a crack addiction.

    Yeah, eating "clean" all the time is over-rated, I gained the majority of my mass while eating on a fairly dirty bulk but that doesn't mean you don't have to pay attention to stuff in your diet.

    I still had to make sure I was getting enough protein, vitamins, fruits, veggies even if I was eating pizza and burgers for some of my meals.
