    Jim's <insert cliche here> Journal

So I've been lifting on and off for about 5 years now, but I've never really been serious about it. As such, I've gotten pretty fat over the past few years and it's time to get serious.

I'm going to be following a 2 days on/ 1 day off training plan coupled with a strict diet.

    Training:
    Day 1: Legs/Back/Abs
    Day 2: Chest/Shoulders/Arms
    Day 3: Off

On lifting days I'll be doing fasted cardio and I may do some high intensity cardio on off days.

As far as diet goes I'll probably be rotating carb intake from 50g-150g, as little fat as possible, and around 200-250g of protein with a minimum of 5L of water per day.

    Supplements:
    Mitotropin (starting on 02/08)
    Novedex XT (starting on 02/08)
    Animal Pak
    NO-Xplode

    Current Weight: 259.4lbs
    Goal Weight: 195lbs

Just weighed myself and I'm down to 251.5, loss of 7.9lbs.

Today's an off day from lifting, but I'll probably do 45mins or so of cardio.

Wow dude, defintiely subbing in for this. I read the OP and thought I was re-reading my own. If your for real serious about doing it, check out this contest:

    https://igoodies.000webhostapp.com/?viagra=showth...hp?t=114005061

Might as well try and win something while your doing all this hard work. Good job so far though and I'll be checking up regularly.

And with the NO-Xplode, when you get done with all of it, try MRI's Black Powder. I love it 100000x more. After I get done with the Black Powder, I'm going to try out Purple Wraath, I've heard nothing but good things. (I'm always on the lookout for the best pre workout supp)

But I'm back on the case tomorrow.

    6x120

    EZ bar Preacher Curls:

    6x60
    6x65

    OH Tricep Extension:

Hey man, thx for the note. I've subbed your thread.

Looks like your diet is really low carb & fat. You going for a keto diet? If you are, this would explain the exhaustion you've been feeling the first week or so.

Have you checked out the CKD routine? Couple of good articles:

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/keto2.htm

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/keto.htm

    http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dorian6.htm

Allows for a carb up period each week that would help you with energy and satisfy the carb cravings.

Yeah, I'm still here, I've just been sick for two weeks.
I quit smoking and I've had the worst chest cold of my life, So I'm taking some time off until I can breathe again lol.

I'm starting the anabolic diet today.
Basically it's fat and protein during the week and carb up on the weekends.

I'm glad you decided to quit man. I was just at a funeral this past weekend for a good friends father who died of lung cancer from smoking. He was 53. Very good choice. You will definitely benefit from it later in life.

I'm going to try and run at least 15 miles a week.

15 miles a week is a great goal. I use Nike+ with my Ipod to keep track of what I'm running. Helps keep me pretty motivated.

Well, the Nike+ shoes have a little hole under the insole to put the thing in. They used to sell a pouch for like $10 where you could use it on any shoe, but I haven't seen them around lately. I guess you could technically use it on any shoe.
