    Question new to site, just getting back into lifting, diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome.

    here are my stats, im 6'3, 165lbs. i lift every day, but i dont get enough calories. i eat the basic 3 meals, and now am about to start supplementing. i take medication called bentyl 2x daily, once in morn, and once in early evening for the IBS. it seems to help. But no matter what, when i take GNC'S Pro Performance Mass XXX, weight gainer, i get diarrhea and actually lose weight, its so frustrating it makes me think to myself ill never gain weight so i might as well just stop. im a highly motivated individual and played sports all of my life but have had trouble gaining, yet alone, maintaining consistant body weight. im well defined, but lack the mass. ANYBODY, and i mean anybody, have any advice or tips on dealing with IBS when it comes to dieting with sports supplements or any recommendations for any high caloric supplements that are easy on the stomach. the pro performance mass xxx that im talking about only has 740 calories per serving.

    I would def. look into gut health by RPN really helps alot for people with digestion and I have heard alot of people with IBS like it. As for weight gainers stay away from them. You can make your own gainer with peanut butter, milk, oats, bananas, and whey. Hope this helps ya a lil bit and i would post in the regular supplement section for answers from other members.
