    Exclamation MUST WATCH!!! Squat Videos Completely Changed my Form! (SRS) (VID)

    Every MISCER needs to watch this series. Very helpful. This video really helped me completely change my squat form. One of the most helpful training videos I've seen on the internet. After completely changing my squat form, my knees no longer felt pain, I felt more stable, more powerful on my lift, and more confident. Definitely a must watch!

    Sorry... can't really post cliffs since the whole series really explains how to do a complete squat correctly. I can give you a few tips though:

    1. Look straight ahead while squating a little higher than eye level through the whole lift.

    2. Curve your back so that your tailbone is arches and your butt sticks out and your chest sticks out.

    3. Have your feet a little wider than shoulder width pointing your toes a tiny bit out and when you squat, make sure your knees are bending out on the lift to give you more room to squat ATG.

    4. Make sure your chest sticks out and your upper back is solid.

    This is how i hurt my back last year. I've been trying to keep a straight spine lately. Feels safer and more comfortable. Mayb once i develop the lower back strength again i'll sacrifice some weight and try this form again

    squat has always been a hard lift for me, these vids will really help my form, I didnt even know you had to keep the weight on the outsides of your feet, been doing it wrong all along.

    Havent watched OPs vids yet but what helped me a lot was Rippetoes video where he emphasizes hip drive. I dont really know where I was trying to generate power from before, but mentally focusing on your lower back/hips like he said definitely made my form come together.

    1. Put feet on bench and put all your body weight on traps, then arch your back and put for feet in position to be solid.

    2 has helped me a lot while benching. Will watch the squat vids, dropped my squat weight down a lot to make sure i can get that back arch. Everything feels comfortable to me except sometimes a spot in between my knee cap and the right side of my knee ( if that makes since) has some pain in it.

    i use to squat like this, however this is good for lifting alot of weights and not bodybuilding. Reduce the weight, do front squat or high bar olympic style squat for more direct quads workout.

    Doing squat like that put too much strain on your lower back, especialy if you do deadlift and bent over rows.
