Trying to figure out why every non Muslim is called a revert. Many people don't think that fitra = Muslim.
Why not include Muslim in the sentence? Is that exclusion enough to assume that the statement means everyone is born Muslim? Each child is born in a state of “Fitrah”, but his parents make him a Jew or a Christian. It is like the way an animal gives birth to a normal offspring. Have you noticed any (young animal) born mutilated before you mutilate them?”
Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim
Others say the word simply means human instinct or human nature.

Why even bother posting if you have nothing to contribute?
I could be a Muslim trying to learn something, and it seems like not only do you have nothing to contribute, you are constantly trying to race bait and incite anger from other posters.
Muslim is not a race btw.The Chinese Communist Party is the enemy of humanity, freedom, democracy, and justice.

fitra is just a state. it means you are completely pure. if you died right then, you have nothing to answer for, straight to the good life
some people also say its a natural thing that people have which gravitates them towards some kind of god in your life, and as you get older different people find different ways to fill that voidLoL

This Q/A helps answer to your question. https://islamqa.info/en/11783
If one is born into a Muslim family, one is Muslim by default. The Prophet said that we are all born on Fitrah, but our parents make us into Jews, Christians and Zoroastrian. You can add to that list, "Muslims, or any other religion."
As for reverts, the way I see it, a revert is only a revert at the point of accepting Islam. After that, they're a 'normal' Muslim like everyone else.
The children are born with an innate sense of submission to God, which is called the fitrah. Their parents may then raise them in a particular faith community, and they grow up to be Christians, Buddhists, etc.
The Prophet Muhammad once said: "No child is born except upon fitrah (i.e. as a Muslim). It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a polytheist" (Sahih Muslim).
Some people, then, see their embrace of Islam as a "return" back to this original, pure faith in our Creator. A common definition of the word "revert" is to "return to a former condition or belief." A revert is returning back to that innate faith that young children innately connect to.
Nothing to do with Trump. They left because of the amount of non-stop trolling, attacks and negs etc they receive in the R/P.Last edited by A6Ibra; 08-21-2016 at 02:36 AM. Reason: Added spadelexus quote.
