My first hard core gym. Laurel Spings NJ. Mc Michaels. 1989 - 1991. Now longer a gym. Roll up door was always up. 15-20 foot ceiings. Ratty, noisy, clangy, real. Owner always there with his free roaming Mastiff. No bar code cards, just the bio metric ‘interview’ by the Mastiff. The gate keeper.

Friday Closer (only for afternoon ‘outing’ indoors: 15-15-20-15-30-15 times 180 lb = 18,000 lbs. Somehere around 54,300 lbs. I am just an ole man doin’ what I love and doin’ it since 1989 when the two pictures below show a building in south New Jersey (Laurel Springs) that was then my first ‘real’ (very) hard core gym (McMichaels) and that roll up door was always up even in the winter. The owner always there and his huge mastiff roamed freely. Loud hard very hard rock ‘play list,’ blaring, ratty but oh-so real. In my soon to be built residence campus, an attached garage gym with two roll up doors. High ceilings. My Flags hanging - and lit - from the trusses. I have worked all my life for these days. And gonna spend every cent … now
