Weekly thoughts: One of the strangest things to cope with, is realizing that you can/have loved someone who did not/could not love you back. It makes you distrustful of yourself and your own feelings. I think if we learn to love ourselves, we will, at a minimum, create boundaries and requirements that set us up for mutually loving relationships. Bodybuilding is often related to narcissism, but I believe it is a big part of the self love process. It’s a literal form of seeing yourself grow and change for the better.
