Dc gym tip # 1 : do not use benches during prime time 5 :00 pm to 7 : 30 pm. Unless you can comoforably rep 135 for sets of 10. Absolutely nothing against people that have trouble with 135 +., but prime time hours are not the time to be working on basic strength. Do push ups/squats/pull ups. IF you insist on benching, WAKE UP EARLY”. Beat the people that need those benches and have minimal time. Im sure this will be met with some negativity and that’s fine. This is a better tip : ask one of those guys that are lifting heavy for advice. You would be surprised. They may seem unapproachable but that is becausr they are focused. Those are the guys that are more than happy to offer help, they just are not going to go out of their way to do so.

Saturday morning I hit traps and chest. The workout was excellent and I was lifting like a psycho listening to Metallica. Later in the morning I went for a trail run which was great!

It’s almost August & I’m still having pain. 😖🙄 I haven’t been laying around watching TV though. I just returned from WA, where I hiked almost every day I was there. What a gorgeous state! Mnt Rainer is ahhhmazing!!
