Pain, sweat, blood, and wounds. Getting a few small bruises on the shin and a cut in the foot was the best thing. I was not sure if I purposely hurt myself, but it felt good give the bag a good pounding. There were moments I felt pain from the bruises and it felt good to feel that kind of pain to numb the emotional pain. I bled and I just kept going until my foot said no more. I guess this was my way to self-harm. Bottled so much anger and sadness within myself... Punishment was all I ever wanted to give myself.
