Hamstrings and glutes exercises. Then the same. Old Sunday ritual of yoga, meditation, deep SMR massage. Enjoyed the warm weather in my backyard and dreaming of being at the beach helped a lot to forget about the quarantine. How would I rate my headspace today? Probably a 7 - better compared to most days with 5 as an average. Just going to leave this post with a simple quote by Franco Columbo (Arnold's confidante). It might not be much to some, but because it came from someone who trained with Arnold, someone so much bigger than me (hehe, I am a teeny tiny little girl compared to him), it was enough to inspire me to just simply be myself... Learn to embrace my genetics (hehe oh lord, this one was really tough and getting lectured by my mother about this was a good smack in the face, too), enjoy the process and progress, and keep full focus on my own health and fitness goals for sport and longevity... Rather than working towards looking a certain way and "fit in". We all have different goals and after all, my sanity is what really comes first and everything else follows. It may be a good reminder to beginners, those lacking confidence, or struggling coming to terms with their own body or progress: "Don't compare yourself to others. Compare to the person from yesterday." Take care of yourself. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Stay safe and strong ❤️

Life Expectant, why do you post some things what seems to have no connection to fitness? My answer is simple, fitness is much more than about the lastest PR or ‘awesome’ workout. Fitness, the whole and abundant life, is mind and body and soul. Lifting and bodybuilding is one small aspect of health. As borrowing the real estate truth, location location location, for 360 life health it is balance balance balance.
