Good morning guys! 3:45 am 5 km walk - had to challenge myself at the end to get to 5 before my time's up and hubby wanted to use the treadmill lol - was fun! Inspiring warriors: David's men did the most incredible acts of bravery and strength (2 Sam 23: 8-23), true, loyal soldiers and extreme athletes - wow! Anyways, I have my creative/marketing work waiting for me today - hope yours will be interesting and awesome as well Fitfam! :D

It's been an interesting 3 years with a light on the horizon now. I am 6 months out post back surgery. I have essentially the clearance to start back more seriously on the road to recovery. Past couple months, have been gently stretching and "waking up" some of the supporting back muscles. I was told to treat my rehab training as if I was recovering from a major injury and take things little by little, step by step. This month will be waking up a lot of the major muscles. Earlier this week was legs including an assisted pistol squat. (Can't really load the back) Today chest, back, arms and shoulders. I am feeling super stoked to be doing this again :)

I finally made it into the gym! It was a light leg day ... Didn't want to pulverize my legs on the first day back. They still need some work! I did my 22s for our Vets and those suffering from PTSD and depression. Have you done your 22s yet?
