I absolutely hate what i did to myself today. Idk how i ever actually did it. I threw in my week 6 from the early stages of Build & Burn... for those who dont know what that is, week 6 is a pure test of how much strength and endurance youve built throughout the program. Every week 6 is a certain number of pushups, mixed with a weight baring exercise. Like, side laterals, or upright rows, or shrugs, curls, etc. So today, i was up at 330am. Went to work. Then went to the gym. Did my week 6, cause why not, last chest and shoulder day was about 8 days ago... right... pretty healed up... pretty recovered. Well i was ******* wrong. I did get 1,120 push ups in, which is a little over 100 shy of my last record. But that **** killed me. Idk how i did it before, i must have been running on nothing but stress and rage. Then i still did my 30 squats for the day. Im taking 3 days off and doing my bicep/tricep strength test day, and then im on recovery for a week. 🤙
