2/21/2020 :: Tonight was a high school basketball broadcast, so I was at Mt. View High in Bend to run a camera. We were set up way early, the weather was great, and the gates to the track and football field were unlocked, so I decided not to waste the time sitting around. I got in a 9:45 mile followed by 30 minutes of jogging and walking. Mt. View High School boasts Ashton Eaton as one of its graduates, and the track has been refinished to include his signature in large letters facing the stadium. Asphalt is asphalt, but it was a neat feeling to be on a different track, and one that honors an Olympic achiever who was once a student there.

Working on Taxes Saturday. A great day to do them, as it was cloudy all day ... Supposed to rain tonight. I decided to jump rope and do push-ups outside ... Nothing else. I did a set of 200 jump ropes ... I find it as great conditioning. Then, I did my 22s for our Vets and those who suffer from PTSD and depression ... Incline and diamond style. It really slowed me down ... But they felt great! I did a Zoom conference call with some buddies in Southern California ... It was way too cool! Talk about social distancing! Don't forget to WASH YOUR HANDS! 🧽🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️🖐️ And for Pete's sake ... STAY SAFE! Do a set for the cause, would ya?! It's a good thing!
