I made this lemon cake recipe today and was expecting this beautiful cake, but it's a layer cake and the layers did not rise very well. ☹ They look like pancakes. 🤣 And you are supposed to slice them horizontally to make a 4 layer cake! Not happening! One thing I will pat myself on the back for is that the filling is delicious and so is the frosting. So , I will still assemble it, but uh, there may not be a pic... 🤣
