Sooooo a few days sgo i did some stupid sh!t at the gym, decided i would deadlift with my son who is working out for football… hes been doing the lifts regularly and i havent deadlifted since right about the time he was born… almost 15 years… he pulls up to the bar, lifts it, i do the same… we add weight and i say ill go first… lift itttttttt about half way and feel things in ny left leg and pelvic region start snap crackle and pop…. Instant pain and stars floating around my head. I somehow managed to get the lift complete released the weights… stumble over to another machine and sit down, trying not to pass out. Needless to say, dont try to pull 350lbs second rep out in 15years… as a fat old man. I have been icing and heating the area for about 3 days now, almost ready to go back to the gym and do some upper body work. Lower body is gonna be a while….
