Chapter of my life that I want to read out loud (Part 1) It is very easy to pick on someone but it is very hard for the person to come out of that trauma. Be it body shaming, failure, betrayal or anything. I went through the same aforesaid situations at certain point of my life. I want you guys to embark on this journey of mine to know me a bit closer. I still vividly remember when people bullied me and made fun out of me by calling me fat-***, bulky bag and what not. They had no idea how I dealt with my insecurities. That time I felt bad but later on when I started gymming, things got changed. I used to do a good workout. People started appreciating me for my workout and I lost almost 30kg in just 6 months. But this happiness didn’t last longer. I started experiencing nausea, hand shivering, breathing issues and severe body cramps. I didn’t notice what was happening to me. I only focused on my goal and that was the only purpose why I came to the gym. But later on things became critical like I couldn’t deal with the cramps anymore. I started feeling cramps a couple of times in a day and night too, all because of the wrong supplement consultant. I went to the clinic and the doctor asked me to drop my supplements off immediately. I was shattered because I did a lot for my physique. But eventually, I dropped the gym and the supplements too for a period of 8 months. Back then, I didn’t know much about bodybuilding. I didn’t know about how to take proper supplements according to body shape and how to get lean without losing muscle. When I left the gym I read so many books about bodybuilding, supplements intake, lean-gain nutrients, and workouts, etc. After 9 months when I stepped into the gym, I noticed that my strength and consistency had gone. I was again a fat-*** guy. I was getting exhausted in just 30-45 minutes of workout. I wasn’t able to run like before and the saddest part is I became a junkie. I lived like a slacker. But then my girlfriend gave me a wakeup call. She reminded me the purpose of my existence and my passion for gym. Her words pushed me to focus on myself again. I come from a middle-class family. Hence, my parents don’t allow me to invest my entire money on gym because doing so can make a big hole in my pocket. Also I cannot count on non-veg because I am pure vegetarian. I followed some hard diets and good workout (split training, push-pull, compound-isolate, etc.) without any supplements. I was doing workout 2 times a day. I also took some challenges (hardcore abs challenge, 30-days challenge, heavyweight with high reps challenge and 15 min. back-to-back cardio challenge and so on.). Being upfront, I am not consistent about my diet and my workout. I hardly give my 40%. I know at times I lose hope and feel like giving up. But I have to keep myself motivated throughout this journey. Now it’s time to put my fingers on rest. That’s it from Part 1 of my story. Soon I will be coming back with the remaining parts.
