The things I occupy my time with when I take a rest day... You know I don't typically run before lifting, so my runs usually occur later in the day. Sunday, we got a short break from the constant rain. I ran first while I had the chance & ended up on the coastal trail unusually early in the morning. The water level surprised me. I'd never seen it so high, & the mud flats I post pics of were completely covered. I had no idea there was such a drastic difference here between high & low tide. So I found a tide chart online. I'm going to plan some of my runs around it because it's way more enjoyable running alongside the waves lapping at the banks of the trail than staring out into the mud flats. 🏃🏻‍♀️🌊 It's the little things that bring me great joy. 😆
