Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me. Philippians 1:27-30 We are told over and over to not be afraid of anything that Satan throws at us, we are to be bold and confident that God will do as He has promised. We are all called to suffer for Christ and we are to count it as a joy. Seems weird to smile in the suffering and heartbreak, but there is an end to all of it. No matter what, God is always in control!

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows. – Ralph Marston Every year we get a little bit older, but are we getting better? Improvement comes in many different forms. The more we learn, the harder we work, the more we can accomplish no matter what age we are.

Upper body routine this morning. I was in a video call with two colleagues - one is currently pregnant and the other who had started their fitness journey. Both are struggling to come to terms with themselves and it has inspired me to give a small shout-out to all the individuals who are also dealing with either situation. To those who have started their journey - every single person you see at the gym or training at home has been in your shoes. You need to remember to take it day by day, focus on the fit and not get to caught up with fat loss. You are stepping out of your comfort zone... And that is an absolute great step towards something amazing. To all the expecting mothers whether you choose to continue to train or take lighter exercise - enjoy the pregnancy and have faith that your body will do what it is supposed to do. Prioritise self-care and self-acceptance throughout the trimesters so that you can bounce forward post pregnancy. To both parties - these things are never easy at the beginning and I hope the journey will help you build a better relationship with your body and your overall self, and that you have a support network. Any journey is all about finding a balance in life. And here is to all the strong people - we may know them. We may be them. May we raise them. Take care of yourselves. Stay strong and safe, fit fam ❤️
