Finished light phase of periodiczation yesterday at home -- 2 weeks. Hit each muscle group 2 times per week. Mostly gym workouts since June 17 re-opening + light home sessions on Saturdays. Muscles feel big and pumped up. Middle phase, next 2 weeks, begins tomorrow. Good sleep makes a positive difference. I aim to wind down consistently by 9 PM so that I get 7-1/2 hours per night. I stay home after dark -- not a "night person." Heavy workouts often induce 15-minute power-nap once I get home.

So, Once again ths gyms have closed here in Tucson because of a tremendous uptick in positive Covid cases and to be honest the manner in which most gym goers I observed conducted themselves in reponse to halting the spread was just shameful. Almost as if 70% of the the populous, just representing my gym had no clue that a pandemic was still happening and they generally did not care about anything dealing with social distancing and in particular Face coverings of any type. Yes I wore a face covering eveeyday even before it was mandated by our Mayor that they be worn in public when social distancing could not be adequately adhered to, the gym is one of those places that inherently fits that model. But even doing the right thing is not enough it seems, so I write this trying to appeal to all fitness Fam members no matter the level or enthusiasm please be an example in your communities do what is right!
