Today marks 117 days sober from alcohol after a 5 year battle with drinking at least a bottle of hard liquor every single day. I was also somehow, by the grace of God, able to achieve this during an ongoing pandemic and while being unemployed for the past 5.5 months. I’m living proof that several chances are given in life when they are far from being deserved. Some days, I would have the motivation needed to get up every morning and make it happen while other days, I would have no motivation whatsoever. One thing always remained the same - my discipline to better myself in any and every way possible. I’m not posting this to talk about myself. I’m posting this to inform anyone who is struggling with addictions of any kind or lacking willpower to make tough, but the right decisions that with the proper discipline, anything can be achieved! 👊🏻💪🏻🙏🏻
