I think the most impressive change overall has been my back. I never ever had any sort of musculature in my back, but here we are! I definitely have focused on back alot, currently shifting gears to legs. I don't think it's too bad for the kid who was a 6'3" string bean!

Very short resistance band workout today. It’s been a taxing week on my body passing the stones, so I definitely can’t workout at my normal intensity level. Hopefully I’ll be able to get back to 100 percent by next week. Happy Friday fam! #TGIFF #Week5

So I've been lifting consistently for 1 year now. Let me tell you, it has taught me PATIENCE more than anything. It's not motivation, it's discipline. Even on days I don't want to go, don't feel like it. I go because it's what I have to do. Time goes on and I see growth little by little, but it takes TIME. I've completed various programs with different splits and followed them all to a tee. I've gained 40lbs overall in my journey, I've built so much strength and I feel so much better day to day. Picking up nearly anything is never a struggle anymore, I surprise myself all the time expecting something to be heavier. I've met some wonderful people and gained some real friends, I found a new passion and had some great experiences testing my strength. Can't wait to see what the future holds! Thank you all for the support over the last year!!
