Ok guys long story short, i'm 25 years old and hold an accounting degree. I've worked in accounting a bit but really stuffed about a bit and got fired from a few places. I'm starting another tax accounting job next week. I don't like it but need the income. I'm kind of depressed because i know...

I moved cities and was unemployed. Just got a job offer, can I negotiate benefits?

They're paying me what I'm asking for, which is good. But I only get 13 days off, and I had 16 at my old job. I'm worried that asking for the extra 3 days might rock the boat too much and hurt the offer. So I'm just going to accept since I'm not in a negotiating position. But I'm hoping...

Your 3 fund allocation?

I see such wide variance on percentages of what to hold between domestic, international, and bonds. So I figured, why not ask the misc.

fed cuts rate .... but says economy is healthy

I'm not an expert on this but everything that I've heard and read about the FRB's moves seems contradictory. On one hand they undertake moves that are usually enacted when the economy is not doing well but than their comments are all positive about its current state. Even the news analysts were...

I’m at a point where I need to step away from work- how do I find quality workers?

I found mine originally in my neighborhood but there was a lot of firing and quitting and lazy bums. I need someone to take over an eBay and Amazon business.

Bought a house. Home inspector overlooked a big issue costing $1,500+. What do?

Cliffs: - OP buys house - as is tradition, OP pays $600+ for a home inspector to find defects with the house, so that OP doesn't get ripped off with a house that needs a bunch of repairs without the seller first fixing them - inspector's report is a very long list of very minor issues - a...

savings account interest rates plummeting

I know it's a product of whatever the **** the feds are doing but man is it a jolt to see those interest rates on savings account go down so quickly. I've been sleeping on investing the money sitting in my savings account anyway so this just creates more a sense of urgency to make some moves.

If so many people are in debt ... (SRS)

Why do i see so many people with designer clothes, eating out all the time, and basically own something worth a bit of money. Do these people just never pay off their debt? I heard at one point if you're debt free and have 1000 dollar you're doing really good. WTF????
